Dr. Ehmann is a graduate of Cornell University and in a somewhat non-traditional path, spent 2 years in the Peace Corps in Senegal (West Africa) before graduating magna cum laude from the University of Buffalo Dental School in upstate New York. She then spent 3 years in the Navy completing a hospital-based general practice residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, then a year on the USS Enterprise, and finally a year at the Naval Branch Dental Clinic in Norfolk, VA. Directly following her Naval service in 2007, Dr. Ehmann moved to the Annapolis area and was fortunate to join Dr. Kathy’s Farley’s dental practice as an associate. In September of 2012, Dr. Ehmann made the exciting transition to practice owner. Katy is so excited to now have 10+ years working with her most dedicated and wonderful team!

Dr. Ehmann is committed to attending many continuing education courses to stay current in the always-changing and ever-improving field of dentistry. She is a founding member of our local Seattle Study Club affiliate: the Triple Crown Study Club (in its 13th year). This group focuses on team planning for complex, multidisciplinary dental cases and has been an amazing resource to improve our profession. Dr. Ehmann is also a member of the American Dental Association and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. She has taken numerous training at the Dawson Academy and is an active member of the Chesapeake Implant Study Club. She has attended over 900 hours of continuing education since 2004.
Katy enjoys gardening, yoga, and tending to her chickens. She and her husband, Bradley, live in southern Anne Arundel County (West River) with their two teenage children, Lyla and Charlie.
Our family has 10 chickens that wander in our yard.
I have a botany degree.
I grew up in New York State.
I played ice hockey in college as a goalie.
I am a beekeeper since 2015, and now have 3+ hives!
I have 2 children: Lyla (16) & Charlie (14)
My husband, Brad has been in the wholesale food business for 25+ years, so I love to talk about restaurants, etc.
I enjoy jogging, yoga, and using my old Nordictrack.
I enjoy yard work outside.
Dr.Ehmann has been donating blood for over 20 years!
Dr.Ehmann has the second largest black walnut tree in the state of Maryland.
Alexis Barron – Office Manager
Alexis joined the practice in 2009 as a dental assistant for Dr.Farley and Dr.Ehmann. She is a licensed Dental Radiologist and expanded functions Certified Dental Assistant, with her training completed on the Eastern Shore.
Alexis volunteers at the Stanton Community Center (Dental Clinic) in Annapolis MD, She has now transitioned into Dental Management for the team in 2016.
In her free time, Alexis loves the RV camping life, sports, traveling, fitness, and spending time with her family, and her rescued dogs. She has two sons named Wesley (2) and Lane (6 months), whom she adores!
Kaylia – Dental Assistant
Kaylia joined the practice in the spring of 2022. She is a licensed Dental Radiologist and expanded functions Certified Dental Assistant. She lives on the eastern shore with her husband Shawn and three fur babies, Gus, Remi and Gunner. Being from Colorado originally, she loves being in the mountains. In her free time she enjoys crafting, reading, and spending time with her family.
Terri – Dental Assistant
Terri has been with Ehmann Dental Care for 3 years, with a total of 20+ years in the dental field. Terri resides in Davidsonville with her husband, three children, three bonus children and her two dogs Cash and Qunicey!
Growing up outside of Philadelphia in south Jersey, she is a die hard all Philadelphia sports fan. She enjoys peloton rides with her favorite instructor Cody. In her free time, you can find her cheering on her children on the football field, lacrosse fields, or at cheerleading competitions!
Addy Johnston – Dental Assistant
Addy joined the practice in 2019. She is a certified dental assistant with 6 years of experience.
In her free time she likes to spend time with her 2 children, husband and pups. She enjoys weekend getaways, being outdoors, baseball and fitness.
Lacey Parker – Receptionist
Lacey joined the practice in 2020.
In her free time, Lacey loves being out on the water, traveling with friends and spending time with her husband, Tyler and two furbabies, Marley & Cali.
Lynn Cimaglia – Registered Dental Hygienist
Lynn attended Delaware Technical and Community College and received her degree in Dental Hygiene in 1995. After relocating to Maryland, she began working for the practice in 1999. Lynn also has her board certification in local anesthesia administration. She is pleased to provide exceptional dental care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
Lynn lives in Stevensville on Kent Island and enjoys spending time with her husband Todd and two teenage daughters, Emily and Allie. She also enjoys staying active at the gym, travel, boating, music, art and reading.
